- When wisdom and discernment don’t come from God we will have a difficult time in dealing with irrationality
- Unlike the other members of the king’s court, Daniel sought insight from the Living God
- Daniel seemed less concerned about the irrational threats made by the king and more interested in what part he could play in God’s plan
- Daniel is at peace in his situation knowing that it’s God who can provide what the king is asking for and he doesn’t forget to praise Him as he’s given the dream’s meaning
