GOOD MORNING!
Sin can have a tendency to sneak up on us when we don’t expect it … especially when we grow complacent in our own vigilance
When we stop seeking the wisdom of God this can especially happen, when we lose our focus on Him in our lives
King Saul was someone who did things on his own, apart from God
1 Samuel 23: 7
1 Samuel 24
We need to be careful that we don’t act one what “feels right”, because those things can be misleading
Job 4: 7-9
David is a good example of someone who despite his missteps and struggles, still can be a person who honors God s he moves forward
Sin corrupts from the inside, it doesn’t matter how the outward appearance may seem
David was a man being hunted down by Saul, but when they finally come face to face we see David react in a different way than you might expect
David takes an opportunity to reconcile with Saul when they are in the cave
You can see how this affects Saul, when David repaid Saul’s evil intent with his own good intent
When our agency is put through the righteous filter of God, it can have radical effects on people’s lives as well as our own
Saul couldn’t help but recognize this agency of David … it was undeniable goodness
It’s important to take a moment to consider how the full scope of God’s wisdom can change the hearts of people. Oftentimes it’s not just the immediate thing which He wants us to see but even beyond that how He may be weaving a narrative in people’s lives
Christ’s ministry and purpose wasn’t just for the people that he ministered to in His present day, but for ALL that would come to Him
There should be caution in stopping at just what feels right for us and calling it God

WHEN YOU ARE HIT WITH AN IDEA DO YOU SEE GOD’S HAND OR IS IT SIMPLY YOUR IDEA?
HOW DO YOU RESPOND TO SITUATIONS THAT YOU WERE CONVINCED WERE FROM GOD BUT FOUND OUT THAT THINGS WERE WORSE OFF THAN WHEN YOU WENT THROUGH THEM?
DO YOU SEEK AFFIRMATION FROM GOD IN YOUR STRUGGLE TO SUBMIT TO HIS WILL OR DO YOU CALL IT “UNNECESSARY”?
