• GOOD MORNING
• Scripture informs how we are to live and operate and the Holy Spirit guides our understanding of God’s Word
• Matthew 7: 13-14
• It’s easy for us to get distracted from Christ because there things of this world which scream in our face. We focus on the loud noise rather than God’s still small voice
• Christ’s ministry while He was here always pointed back to the will of the Father 
• 1 Cor. 12: 1-3
• We need to be discerning of what some people claim to be “from God”
• If it challenges scripture or goes against the truths found there, that might be a good sign that it is not.
• God is not confusing and He does not contradict Himself
• Galatians 5: 19-23
• We are bonded by a set of standards which God defines and which we find in scripture
• Likewise, without adhering to those things we are allowing something other than God influence our agency
• Ephesians 2: 1-5
• Because of God’s grace, we have more of an ability to discern what comes from God and what doesn’t. We’ve been shown the extent of God’s love and the way He works, the way He treats relationship
• 1 Cor. 2: 10-16
• The Holy Spirit enables the discerning process, our helper in casting away things that are not of God.
• Ezekiel 36: 22-27
• What we do, how we interact with people, the way we live all should glorify God and should be backed by the dictates and spirit of His Word. 
• Romans 8: 22-30
• We should be trying to listen to God’s voice and actively trying to hear it versus the other loud noise
• Vigilance in what we allow in is part of how we are called to live … vigilance and discernment is part of our agency as God’s people

• WHAT ARE SOME WAYS YOU CAN LOOK BACK ON HOW THE HOLY SPIRIT PROVIDED FOR YOU WHEN YOU WERE CONFUSED, STRUGGLING?
• HAS THE HOLY SPIRIT EVER INSPIRED YOU TO SHARE THE GOSPEL?
• WHAT ARE YOU CARRYING AS A BURDEN THAT SUPPRESS THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HOW GOD IS TRYING TO SPEAK TO YOUR HEART? ARE YOU ALLOWING YOUR HELPER TO ACTUALLY HELP YOU?
